“WarschauerStrasse” Auction sale
“DIREKTE AUKTION II”
A painting of the new artwork by Josie Watson inspired by the city of Berlin goes out for sale on “Direkte Auktion II”. Double debut, this is the first painting of the series to be presented in public and also it is the first time the artist prices her work in the european market.
“WarschauerStrasse” is influenced by the overture of the film “Berlin – Symphonie einer Grosstadt, 1972” by Walter Ruttman, a composition of abstract and figurative images that play as the city’s arterial roads: It’s railways, the river and it’s unique flow of time.
Biding price base of 1.000 euros. With a half-priced estimated final price of 3.050 euros the artist prefers a conservative attitude for a safe start. Buyers interested in supporting or investing in arts should be noticed about this artpiece.
After conquering the “Consacrated artist category” of Argentina with 12 years of sales in the local latinamerican market, now 33 year old Josie Watson tryes the european market looking forward to develop a new series of artwork currently inspired by the city of Berlin.
